HIRING THE COMMUNITY ROOMS
The Community Centre has two rooms which can be hired for regular activities, charity events
or children's parties up to the age of 11.
The main room (Pope Street) is approximately 45ft long X 25ft wide. It accesses the kitchen through a serving hatch.
The second room (Museum Room) has a kitchen and toilets, so is slightly smaller.
We have 20 large tables (182 x 76 cms.) and 12 small tables (92 x 61 cms.)
There are 62 padded chairs and 59 plastic chairs.
We have 3 red screens for display or privacy.
We have a pull down screen in the Pope Street room and a projector stand.
We can't have childrens parties on a Saturday as the library is open and there would be an issue with any noise, but you can hire the rooms at any time during the day on a Sunday.
PLEASE NOTE. From 13th July 2018 we no longer allow the use of bouncy castles in our rooms.
The Community Centre Coordinator is in the building from 9:30 to 2:00pm each weekday except Wednesday

Monday to Friday 7.00pm to 10.00pm £20.00 per hour, per room
Saturday & Sunday all hours £20.00 per hour per room
Saturday & Sunday all hours £30.00 per hour for all facilities
